Privacy policy

This notice explains how personal data collected through restauromarmomilano.it is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018).

Data controller

  • Controller: Les Traitements du Sud
  • Address: 45 boulevard de la Croisette, 06400 Cannes (France)
  • Contact email: contact@lestraitementsdusud.fr

Data we collect

Through the “Request a quote” form we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address and/or phone number, type of surface, approximate area, area or town, message and any photographs. We also keep a record of your consent (the text accepted, date, IP address and page of origin).

If you contact us on WhatsApp, the data you send (number, profile name, messages, photos) is used to answer your request; WhatsApp is provided by a third party under its own terms and privacy policy.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Answering your request, arranging a site visit and preparing a quote: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the consent you give through the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Keeping proof of consent and handling any disputes: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your data is not used for marketing and is not passed to third parties for that purpose.

Retention

Data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, if no contract follows, for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact. If you hire us, it is kept for the period required by applicable law.

Recipients

Your data is handled by the Les Traitements du Sud staff who deal with enquiries and, where strictly necessary, by technical providers acting on our behalf (website hosting, email service), who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Transfers

Data collected through the website is hosted within the European Union. If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, processing by that provider may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards it has adopted.

Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), and withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing, by writing to the email address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the Member State where you live.
